02/06/21, DWI (P.O. Johnson): Moris Castaneda-Perlera, 39 of Stanhope was stopped by patrol traveling south in the Northbound lane near the Tap House after visiting Club 15. He was charged with Driving While Intoxicated and other motor vehicle offenses.  He was processed and released.

02/06/21, Criminal Mischief, Defiant Trespass, Daily Planet (P.O Parisi, Johnson, Smolt, Cpl. Quidort): Adam Waciura 40, from Sparta,  began to have an altercation with another person inside the Daily Planet. Adam broke several glasses, a pool table light, and back door window before leaving. After Waciura left and returned twice, he was greeted by other patrons who prevented him from entering the bar. Waciura suffered several cuts, scrapes, and bruises during the struggle. He was arrested for defiant trespass and criminal mischief, processed, and released.

02/10/21, Erratic Driving complaint, DWI Arrest (P.O Riley): James Fitzpatrick, 63 of Oak Ridge, was arrested for DWI after being located by patrol from an erratic driving complaint. He was charged, processed, and released with a court appearance.

02/16/21, Multiple Burglaries to Motor Vehicles (PO Coyle/PO Wojtach/Det. Sudak/Det. Hecht): Police responded to Shore Road in Lake Hopatcong for a report of a burglary to a motor vehicle. Upon arrival to the area, multiple residents directed JTPD to a male suspect who was observed entering multiple vehicles on Shore Road.

Upon further investigation, Thomas Berry, 31 of Wharton and Samantha Delano, 26 of Stanhope were placed under arrest and taken into custody for burglary and theft. The pair have been accused of entering multiple vehicles and removing personal property.

Berry and Delano were processed at JTPD Headquarters and charged accordingly.  Berry was transported to the Morris County Correctional Facility and Delano was released on a summons.  Both defendants have been given future court dates at the Morris County Superior Court in Morristown.

02/26/21, Structure Fire (P.O. Ondish): JTPD and JTFD CO #2 responded to a residential structure fire at 15 Tulip Drive, Lake Hopatcong.  The residence was under construction at the time and the fire was not suspicious.  No one was injured during the fire and the fire was extinguished with minimal damage to the residence.
